Summer has been good to me

These are the most recent pics I've taken of all of my flowers. All of them are pretty much in full swing blooming like crazy. I've had a ton of fun this summer and I've learned so much. My gladiolas are blooming FINALLY! To be honest, they have kind of been a let down. Mostly because I've waited all summer for them to bloom and when they do it only lasts for a few days. I have attached a pic below of some pink ones that look really pretty. I've had white, pink, and purple so far.

Can you believe how big all of these have gotten?!?!

The tire is overflowing with pink! haha :) Thanks for looking! I will probably do one more post before everything freezes.

Holy Moses it's been a month!

Tire in the front yard, petunias are seriously taking over.
The cana bulb in the middle is getting ready to bloom.

Holy crap! I can't believe it's been a month since I updated this :)
I went on a trip for a week in July and couldn't believe how much change I noticed when I got back in all of my flowers.  Wanna know the best part?
MY GLADIOLAS ARE FINALLY BLOOMING!
I can rest in peace, I've been waiting all summer for this and they look so pretty, I can't wait until they all get going. I've posted a few pics to show you just how much progress has been made. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Elvis hasn't changed a ton since the last post,
but he's still cute as can be :)
Coleus...these things really grew!

Potted cana bulbs...
Potted gladiolas...

Impatiens...I love these little things, they are so pretty

Begonias...I'm not sure if I will plant
these again next year, they don't seem
to be growing much.

Backyard at the end of June.

Backyard in the middle of July. The cana bulbs really started
to pop up when I took this picture.

Update #4

Here we have the back yard. This area has changed so much :) I planted another type of lili that is beautiful. Next year when they all bloom I will have light pink and dark purple. My cana bulbs are taking over! They grow faster than any plant I have ever since in my life. The columbine that I though was dead isn't! Just a few days ago some new leaves popped up. Yeah!

I've added quite a few pictures
of my impatiens because they are blooming

like CRAZY! I think they are such a neat flower, they bloom very slowly. They have completely filled my basket.

Look at my tire! It is now overflowing with flowers! My red snapdragons finally bloomed and they look gorgeous. My pink petunias are going crazy. This was such a fun project and how it looks wonderful in my front yard. I will post a before picture below so you can see how much it's changed.

 Oh hello :)

More cana bulbs.
Still waiting for my gladiolas to bloom......
If you don't know him by now, this is Elvis. A REAL man likes geraniums.

3rd time is a charm

I moved my impatiens AGAIN :)
Third time is truly a charm in this instance because they are finally blooming!

The impatiens are still my hanging basket I just moved them to an area where they get early morning cool sun on the north side of the house. They were getting some hot afternoon sun so I used this left over fence panel scrap to block the sun in the evening. It looks really cute in my backyard!
The impatiens are blooming more now than ever (right picture).

Here is a close up of the begonias....begonia flowers mean "deep thoughts"
I took this right after I planted all of the flowers
in the tire....look at the progress!

My tire is  filling  up quickly. As you can see my petunias are blooming
and my cana bulbs are  coming up in back (the big leafy ones). My snap dragons
have been slow to bloom but they have TONS of buds on them. I will make sure
to post some pics when they bloom :)

We moved all of the veggies to the front of the house (faces south)
so they could get full sun.

Here's Elvis, he is really filling out! Especially on bottom, the
geraniums are taking off!

Lastly we have the flower garden in the backyard. This poor thing! My dogs
seem to think that this is their digging ground which is why I have the little wood posts
all over the place. I'm really hoping that my gladiolas will bloom soon!
